PM Roosevelt Skerrit shares a heartfelt message on the demise of Chris Timmins

Prime Minister of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit sent his condolences to the family and friends of Project Director of Housing Dominica, Mr Christopher J. Timmins, who passed away on Saturday.

Prime Minister shared a heartfelt message on his social media accounts with a photograph of Timmins.

"Condolences to the family, friends and associates of Christopher J. Timmins. He made a great contribution to the development of Dominica, and we all say thanks to you." wrote PM Skerrit.

Christopher J. Timmins has been a member of Montreal Management Consultants, Est. Ltd for over a decade and he was also the project director of the famous Housing Dominica initiative that is constructing climate-resilient homes under the National Programme.

Member of Parliament from Roseau Central, Ms Melissa Skerrit also shared a message on her Facebook account; she wrote, "Rest In Eternal Peace, my dear friend."

A message of condolences was also delivered from the Housing Dominica department itself, that noted, "Chris’ dedication to the company and knowledge of the industry has contributed significantly to our company’s success. We will remember Chris fondly and how extraordinary a person he was."

MMCE has been actively associated in the construction of social housing in Dominica since 2016 when the organisation acknowledged a contract with the government of Dominica to establish housing designed to resettle those supplanted by Tropical Storm Erika in the Petite Savanne area
