PM Pierre engages with Saint Lucian students studying in Taiwan

Saint Lucia: Philip J. Pierre- the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia recently paid a visit to Taiwan. There, he met the students from Saint Lucia who are studying at the various universities in Taiwan.
“Over 200 Saint Lucians are reading for degrees and others who have earned their degrees are nurturing successful careers,” mentioned the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister of Saint Lucia highlighted that there are so many students from Saint Lucia who are studying at the various universities of Taiwan. And, some have completed their degrees and are working towards a better and brighter future.
Such reveals of the stronger ties between both the nations that are Saint Lucia and Taiwan. The PM expressed his pleasure in meeting the students.
“My administration remains committed to the One University/Professional Graduate Per Household and the First Generation Scholarship policies which are changing the lives of families across Saint Lucia,” added the PM.
Considerably, PM Pierre highlighted that such policies are affecting the lives of the people of Saint Lucia positively. And, are marking the commitment of the authorities behind it. Further, the Prime Minister extended thanks to the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) for partnering with Saint Lucia.
Such collaboration is of great significance as this revolves around the transformation of the countries. As well, the policies under this are people-centric. This projects the overall development of the country.
