Nevis is all set to host Sailing Festival, Booby Island 2024
Booby Island 2024 Regatta, a Sailing Festival is all ready to mark its way in the Nevis, a sister island to St. Kitts on May 19, 2024 (Sunday).

St. Kitts and Nevis: Booby Island 2024 Regatta, a Sailing Festival is all ready to mark its way in the Nevis, a sister island to St. Kitts on May 19, 2024 (Sunday).
The call to meet has been extended to the public at Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Center, Oualie Bay, Nevis. And, the entry fee for the same has been mentioned as EC$50 per boat.
Aligning with it, the Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Center have shared the timings for the start of respective activities. These are as follows:
- Captain Briefing – 10:00 am
- “Race” – 11:00 am
- Afterparty till 5:00 pm
There will be yachts, Catamarans, Hobbies, Submarines etc. In respect to this, Leeward Island Charters has organized a catamarans spectator boat. This will offer the best view of the races to the spectators. Considerably, the event will include all the fun on the water.
As a part of fun at the event, there will be an open bar on board and as the race ends, everyone will be taken ashore at Oualie. The time for this has been set at 5pm and the departure at the Port Zante Marina will be at 9 am with the ticket price of EC$155 per adult.
Not only will the event be for fun but also it will express the opportunities for the local vendors as there will be all drinks and foods available for sale. Such a factor marks that it will contribute greatly to the economy of the country.
As through the selling opportunities extended to the local vendors, the benefits to them as well would lead towards the overall development of the country by stating the economic contributions to the Gross revenues of St. Kitts and Nevis.
