Music superstars revealed for St Kitts Music Festival 2018

Patti LaBelle and Lauryn Hill among those signed up

The 2018 edition of the St Kitts Music Festival has announced a unmissable selection of headline acts.

You Are My Friend singer Patti LaBelle and Lauryn Hill, known for her time in the Fugees as well as her solo work, will both appear at the event, which takes place from 27 June until 1 July.

Jamaican dancehall singer Spice is also on the line-up.

Lindsey Grant, tourism minister in St Kitts and Nevis, said: “I am extremely pleased to have such popular artists join the roster for the 2018 St. Kitts Music Festival.

“This event has become well-known for featuring top internationally known acts along with local talent and for showcasing broad range of musical styles.

“It has proven to be a successful formula and one we are therefore continuing to follow.”

The St Kitts Music Festival is now in its 22nd year, cementing it as one of the top music events in the Caribbean. Since 1996 over 400 local, regional and international artists have performed.

Among the superstars who have previously taken to the stage are Creedence Clearwater Revisited, the Goo Goo Dolls, Billy Ocean, Michael Bolton, Jason Derulo and John Legend.
