Jewel of the Seas makes final call to Trinidad for 2023-24 cruise season

The visitors also embarked on exploring various sites on the island, including Maracas Beach, Maracas Waterfall, House of Angostura, The Botanical Gardens, Caroni Bird Sanctuary, Mt St Benedict, Paramin, and more.
The Authority also shared the overall statistics of the current cruise season and said that the island received 35 cruise calls, 78051 passengers and 29149 crew members.
In addition to this, 52,135 passengers disembarked and experienced Trinidad, with 20,901 passengers participating in organized tours of our attractions.Jewel of the Seas passengers were able to have a sweet and savoury treat as they came back from their various tours. The Tourism Trinidad Authority noted that one more vessel, the Island Sky, will arrive to the island and will mark the closing of the 2023-2024 cruise season.
Trinidad and Tobago has witnessed a thriving cruise season this year, which brought thousands of passengers to the island nation who indulged in everything local, giving a major boost to the local economy.The local taxi drivers, tour guides as well as eateries got a major boost throughout the season and are anticipating the return of the next season in October.
