Jamaica: Mother kills 5-month-old by throwing her from roof over argument with partner
According to the police officials in Jamaica, the baby named Destiny Brown was killed at her home on Tuesday, December 6, 2023.

It is being alleged that around 5 35 pm, Green was at home with her common law husband and a few other members of the family when she asked to have a conversation with her partner about their future and relationship. The reports added that the man ignored her and said that he will talk about it later.
The suspect reportedly became enraged and left the room with Destiny. She went to the roof on the 3rd floor of the building and threw her five-month-old baby on the concrete pit in the yard.Destiny got severely injured and was rushed to the hospital by the police officers, but she succumbed to her injuries.
After a month-long investigation into the incident, Green was charged with the murder of the child on Saturday after she was interviewed in the presence of her lawyer. Her court date is yet to be finalised during which she will be read the charges and the punishment.
The incident is being condemned by people across the country with several taking to social media and cursing the suspect.
“Hope she gets the full brunt of the law. Whether partner listened or not is not excuse. Could have flung herself over if she was so frustrated,” wrote a user named Kay Kay while another user said, “What a wicked woman a lot of them only have kids to get the man they really don’t love their own kids so when the relationship turns sour they end up taking the children lives.”
