“I do not know Terry Baron, I do not know Chris HP, I know nothing of the characters who have been named to be associated with me in some sort of scheme to buy Dominica land. I have never communicated with these individuals whoever they are, whether they are real or fake,” said Leader of Opposition and UWP, Lenox Linton.

After a European news website CCE News released a thread of WhatsApp chats claiming Lenox Linton being engaged in corruption and conspiracy to sell off Dominica’s assets. Lenox Linton took it over to the local radio to clarify his stand on the allegations.
Asserting more details, Lenox self-assuredly said that they are not in any contact with him on WhatsApp or any other social media.
“They are not in my WhatsApp contacts and they are not on any account I have on social media otherwise and I have never discussed land purchase or land sale with anybody.”
“I do not negotiate anything, that is not mine, I am a mamma’s boy,” along with that, he said that all the allegations of meeting and having a deal with any Terry Baron or Chris HP is absolutely mischievous.
However, CCE News released the thread where Linton was allegedly compromising the assets of Dominica. The messages clearly expose that Linton makes a promise that land worth of $10 million will be sold for $2 million if he comes to power in the upcoming elections.
According to CCE, a commitment of $1 million is pledged for his election campaign by the developer named Terry Baron. The organisation also accused Terry Baron of providing financial assistance for UWP campaign.
