Saint Lucia: The Head of the Saint Lucia’s Citizenship by Investment Unit, Mc Claude Emmanuel is aiming to attract more investors and high-net-worth individuals globally who are looking more often to the country as an appealing destination for alternative citizenship.
He believes that despite being the newest in the market, the programme has established itself as one of the most reputable and sought after CBI Programmes.
During a recent interview, CEO Emmanuel said that the investors and HNWIs are increasingly looking to acquire Saint Lucia’s alternative citizenship because the CIP Unit does not compromise on its due diligence procedures and ensures that every applicant is screened, vetted and assessed properly.
He also expressed his aim to granting citizenship to people who can add value to the country without putting the brand to any disrepute.
The Head further noted that Saint Lucia also relies on third-party law enforcement agencies to collect information as well as take an informed decision on whether the applicant is worthy enough of being granted the citizenship or not.
Emmanuel has also stated that Saint Lucia has continually ranked at the top in factors such as ease of doing business, transparency and economic freedom in the CBI Index which makes it an irresistible and perfect choice for investors.
He further highlighted that this makes the island nation an ideal place and programme to invest in and believes that promoting Saint Lucia has the potential to attract even more foreign investments instead of just getting the investment for the citizenship or programme.
The CIP Head also said that Saint Lucia has been traditionally receiving growth in demand from investors coming from Asia and Middle East and said that he is expecting to see increased growth from these two regions.
The continuous increase in demand for Saint Lucia’s CBI is because of Emmanuel and his team who are working hard to make the programme the best in the world and also works to maintain and uphold the overall integrity of the Citizenship by Investment Programme of Saint Lucia.
