Grenada: Teenager dies ‘after ingesting poison’
Community ‘puzzled’ over the incident

A seventeen-year-old boy has died four days after he allegedly ingested a poisonous substance.
The boy has not been named but he is understood to have been a graduate of the Presentation Brothers College (PCB). No details have been given about deadly substance.
The boy was discovered unconscious at his home before being rushed to hospital. The Grenada Informer reports that he was in a critical condition when he was admitted.The latest death comes a month after a similar case that led to the death of a 16-year-old girl in the south of Grenada.
Both incidents are under investigation, WIC News understands.One man, who described himself as a friend of the deceased, said: “We keep asking the question ‘why?’ but I do not think we can answer that.”
Dominic Jeremiah, principal of the PBC, is quoted by the Grenada Informer as saying the death was not only a loss to his immediate family but also to the entire college fraternity.
