Grenada: Cooking gas drops by $12.80; Gas, Diesel, Kerosene also declines
While informing the general public, the government said that from today onwards, the retail prices of petroleum products will be changed in the State of Grenada.

Grenada: In a significant relief for the citizens of Grenada, the Government has announced a decrease in the cost of gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and cooking gas. This time, there has not been increase in the price of even a single petroleum product, making it less burdening for the citizens of the country.
While informing the general public, the government said that from today onwards, the retail prices of petroleum products will be changed in the State of Grenada.
According to the information, the cost of Gasoline has reduced by $0.88 with the new price now standing at $15.74. The price of diesel has also dropped by $0.13, and the old price of the product was $15.43, which has now been reduced to $15.30, while Kerosene has been reduced to $11.25 after a reduction of $0.51.
It is to be noted that all these price changes in gasoline, diesel and kerosene will take place in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
On the other hand, LPG cylinder also known as cooking gas has also witnessed a slight drop in its prices. In Grenada, the 20 lbs Cylinder stands the same at $40 while the 100 lbs cylinder has witnessed a whopping $12.80 reduction with the product now standing at a price of $235.65. The bulk LPG has also been merely reduced by $0.10 with the new price now being $2.45.
In Carriacou and Petite Martinique, the 20 lbs cylinder stands the same at $49.00 while the 100 lbs cylinder has been reduced to $258.65 after a reduction of $12.80. The bulk has also been reduced to $2.45 after a mere reduction of $0.10.
Meanwhile, the government has also announced that the Ministry of Finance continues to monitor petroleum product prices and will intervene as necessary if the prices exceed $17.00. They also asked the retailers to note the changes in the prices of all the products and sell them on the same as stated until next changes.
