Five bills for the national assembly of SKN on November 17

The Order Paper has been distributed for a session of the National Assembly to be held at the National Assembly Chambers, Government Headquarters, Basseterre, on November 17, 2020.

St Kitts and Nevis: The Order Paper has been distributed for a session of the National Assembly to be held at the National Assembly Chambers, Government Headquarters, Basseterre, on November 17, 2020. Dr Timothy Harris - Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Sustainable Development, Constituency Empowerment, Human Resource Management, National Security and Information will seek leave to precede and have read a first-time Income Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2020.

Moreover, Prime Minister will lead the second reading of COVID-19 (Prevention and Control) Bill, 2020, which had its Initial Reading on 15th October 2020; National Disaster Management (Amendment) Bill, 2020, which had its Original Reading on 15th October 2020, and Saint Christopher and Nevis (Mutual Exchange of Information in Taxation Matters (Amendment) Bill, 2020, which had its original reading on 15th October 2020).

However, Akilah Byron-Nisbett Minister of Health, ICT, Entertainment, Entrepreneurship and Talent Development, Public Health (Amendment) Bill, 2020's will be moved the second reading which had its initial reading on 15th October 2020. The National Assembly will be live broadcasted on radio stations of St Kitts and Nevis. It can also be viewed live on TV Channel 5 in St. Kitts and Channel 98 in Nevis.
