Roseau, Dominica: New council sworn in the Morne Prosper Village Council Office on Wednesday. Dr Irving McIntyre- the parliament representative from Roseau Valley, shared the information.

He stated that it was his pleasure to be present while the councillors took their oath to serve the community of Morne Prosper.

Parliament Representative stated that he is fully aware of the integral part local government plays in the development of the community and also providing an opportunity for the people to contribute as well.

Furthermore, he stated that it is also very important that the Council and Central government work together, and in this regard, all councillors have pledged their full collaboration.

"As Parliamentary Representative I pledge my unwavering support to the new Council." added Dr Irvin McIntyre." stated the Parliament Repsentatice from Roseau Valley.

Minister Irvin McIntyre stated that it is only through Collective Efforts and an inclusive approach that we can achieve our goals. He always put the people of Morne Prosper first in all our endeavours, and he looks forward to a productive term.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, only a few people attended the oath ceremony. All the candidates wore face masks and exercised caution.
