DLP's Gregory Riviere to be launched on Sunday, August 18

Postponed launch of Dominica Labour Party’s general election candidate from Margot will now be on this Sunday, 18th of August. The event was planned for 28th of July 2019 but due to weather conditions party had to postpone the launch of the candidate Gregory Karessah Riviere.
General Elections of Dominica are due by 2020, for these parliamentary elections all the political parties are working hard to attract the voters towards themselves. Intensifying its campaign for upcoming parliamentary elections DLP will be taking out a motorcade rally to Marigot Constituency.
On Sunday, Dominica Labour Party will be launching its candidate for Marigot constituency. For the launch of candidate Gregory Karessah Riviere, motorcade from Grand Bay, Petite Savanne, Soufriere, Roseau Central, Roseau South, Roseau North, and Roseau Valley will be meeting up at Dame Eugenia Charles Boulevard at 12:30 pm on Sunday, August 18th.
This event is called up ‘All Constituency Meet’ by the Dominica Labour Party. During the launch event of parliamentary candidate Gregory Karessah Riviere, party followers from across the island are expected to be at the venue with hundreds of vehicles.
Leader of Opposition Lennox Linton is general elections candidate for United Workers Party (UWP) from Marigot constituency; this seat is considered a crucial general elections seat. Winning this seat is very important for the Dominica Labour Party.
On the launch event of Roseau North parliamentary candidate Joseph Isaac, Prime Minister Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit has said that “Gregory Riviere will be flying the flag for Labour in the Marigot constituency and I want Labourites to join me for the special launch of this emerging tiger from the east,”.
