Development of Hotel Indigo marks biggest milestones in Tourism: Samal Duggins

St Kitts and Nevis welcomed another Brand new hotel called Hotel Indigo in Frigate Bay, St Kitts, on Thursday.
Samal Duggins- Minister of Creative Economies and Cooperatives, felt honoured to attend the groundbreaking ceremony. He commended the government's unwavering commitment in shaping the tourism landscape. While noting their dedication towards advancing the tourism sector, he extended heartfelt gratitude to several Ministers, including Denzil Douglas- Minister of Foreign Affairs, for his effective leadership in representing the nation on the Global map.
"Your dedication is commendable!" Minister Duggins added. Further, he also lauded Marsha Henderson- the Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation and Urban Development. He applauded her for her unwavering commitment to shaping the tourism landscape.Furthermore, while noting the Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew's contributions and efforts, he highlighted, "I also echo the same sentiments as our Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr Terrance Drew, We small but we Tallawah,” reminding us of our strength. Despite our geographical size, we have achieved landmark milestones."
Minister Duggins observed this development of hotels as one of the most significant milestones the nation has attained in Tourism and Foreign Investment to convert the country into a sustainable Island State.
At Last, the Minister was excited to serve its global visitors through this significant development.
"In addition, this project speaks volumes to our good character and ability to operate well within the international community. With that being said, I wish Hotel Indigo a triumphant success! I’m excited to witness St. Kitts shine brighter in the world of hospitality," He outlined.
Reportedly, Hotel Indigo's development has returned to the nation after a long period of drought in the construction development industry.
The last such project development, called Six Senses Resort, pulled out of St Kitts and ended up developing a resort on the island of Grenada back in 2019.
Denzil Douglas, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, was also delighted. He added, "In my capacity as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Economic Development and Investment et al., I was pleased to witness the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a brand new boutique hotel, HOTEL INDIGO, in the Frigate Bay Area."Latest
