Children hit father with sharp object after aggressive argument for laundry

Antigua and Barbuda: A terrible argument between father and his children worsened the situation of the father. He was physically attacked by his children last Saturday which resulted in severe injuries.

The reports have stated that it was evening time around 8:20 pm when a 44 years old man came back to his home to find household chores. This was left undone by his 15 years old children (daughter and son).

The arguments started on the basis of undone laundry, however such a small state with just a blink of eye turned into a major one. The distressing situations between father and the children changed all the scene of the incident, taking to the escalated stressful situations.

The reports revealed that both while having the arguments, with major aggressiveness, the children waved a sharp object towards their father. This made him injured severely. He got hit so hard that got severe wounds.

As per the reports, a 44 years old man got injuries to his left leg and the left side of his head. And, the neighbors informed the public of all this. Further, he was taken to Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for urgent medical treatment. However, the assailants have not been found and the police are in search of them. 

Such incidents have raised major concern among the citizens of the country. People are worried about the situations in the community which are making their children vulnerable.

One of the citizens mentioned, “My Good God, that would have been the end of it for me and them. I hope police locate them soonest. Young criminals in the making. Their own father? For speaking up and trying to be a responsible parent.”

Whereas other quoted, “we make children, not their minds, society changes our kids, as it takes a community to raise them.”

Through such words, people have evidently stated the need of fostering the values in community so peace and harmony can be ensured in the society.
