Caribbean nations to welcome British Royal Family in wake of Queen's Platinum Jubliee

Reportedly, Prince Willian and Kate are likely to visit Belize, Jamaica, The Bahamas and Barbados. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said they were so excited to be visiting Belize and other Caribbean countries in March. They also asserted that they couldn't wait to meet people in the countries and celebrate local cultures of the countries. They will take their tour to the Caribbean nations between March 19 and 26, 2022.
They will be followed by the Earl and Countess of Wessex-Edward, the youngest son of the Queen and his wife Sophie, who will visit St Lucia in April 2022. They are also expected to visit Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada and St Vincent and the Grenadines.
As per the report of the Kensington Palace, William and Kate would visit a number of islands in The Bahamas. They will also take part in a "world-famous junkanoo parade and visit various historical places of the country".
Further, William and Kate would also visit the historic Mayan sites in Belize and would celebrate the Garifuna community while exploring the biodiversity of the country.
On the other hand, in Jamaica, the couple would celebrate the legacy of Bob Marley and carry out events with the Jamaican Defence Force.
95-years-old Queen has not visited internationally for a very long time, making her last official visit overseas to Malta in 2015.Moreover, the Queen has followed the COVID-19 protocols by staying in isolation at Windsor Castle after testing positive for the SARS-CoV-2 infection last week. They have cancelled all public engagements, including online meetings.
The Queen of Britain visited St Lucia in 1985 and visited Jamaica in 2002.
The visit of the Royal family to the various countries is a traditional way of celebrating a big jubilee year. Moreover, in the 70th year of reign, the members of the Royal Family would also visit various places on behalf of the Queen.
