Barbados: Silk Road Music Festival to feature over 25 artists on April 6

This exciting event will feature an impressive line up of bajan artists which is a true representation of the cultural artistic landscape. The 13 hour long festival is one for the books and is an experience not to be missed, said the organisers.
While encouraging everyone to attend, the organisers said that the Early Bird Tickets for the festival are available just for $80 for a very limited time.Visitors can expect a lot of excitement throughout the day while indulging in music, live performances, DJs, visual arts, fashion, poetry, dance, talks and workshops.
This one day festival will be stacked with so many talented artists and creators and there are many more acts which will be announced on the spot. There will be more than 25 artists performing on 3 different stages on a single day.The exclusive lineup for the upcoming Silk Road Music Festival is as follows:

A special performance will be provided by Shanta Prince who is a Barbadian beauty known for her infectious smile and unique sound and will grace the Silk Road Music Festival Stage at the Sweetfield Manor Boutique Hotel. From her roots as a backing vocalist with Bacchanal Time Calypso Tent to soaring into the limelight with hits like “Island Girl” and “Blind to See,” Shanta’s journey is one of musical evolution. Another special performance will be provided by Artist Sivers Tha Third and visitors will experience ‘12 Days of Independence’ live by Sivers Tha Third – a groundbreaking Barbadian Hip-Hop journey. This audacious album delves into Barbados’ social, political, and economic landscape, inviting reflection and engagement.
