Summer Internship Programme, being a proactive move aims at fostering youth development and enhancing future employability. These both in itself have a great role in shaping the country, a better place to live in.
The programme will soon commence in the year 2024, is aimed at specifically providing the benefits to the individuals between the age of 17 to 19 years old. Such an initiative promises to benefit the cohort of 150 young men and women of the twin nation island, Antigua and Barbuda.
Considerably, the programme has been launched by the cabinets. And, is one of the ambitious programs that seeks to equip participants with the invaluable skills and hands-on experience. This holds great benefits which even include offering a certain amount to the interns in exchange for the work done.
An internship program is significantly crucial for the professional journeys among the post-high school graduation. Each of the interns will have the opportunity to earn a stipend while gaining practical insights into various of the sectors of public service and administration.
