Haiti: A four year old boy from Haiti Bryan Boyer died after being beaten by his adopted mother in Florida. Boyer was adopted by Patricia Saintizaire, aged 36, last year after his mother in Haiti refused to keep him with herself.
According to the information, the little boy had a traumatic short life of neglect and abuse, and the police officials reported that Bryan suffered horrible abuse at the hands of her adopted mother. The child died in the beginning of May after he was abused physically.
He also said that the officials have a video clip showing the child’s hands tied behind his back, following which the mother was seen throwing him in the swimming pool in the backyard of her residence.
The Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd reported that the child’s body also had visible marks of violence, showing that he was beaten brutally. He further noted that the medical authorities found an injury where his liver had a tear, and the examiner said that it could be nothing else other than an immediate hard strike to the abdomen.
Additionally, as the autopsy went on, the authorities found different layers of injuries and bruises from past beatings. The medical officer said that the child was dead because she beat him to death.
According to Judd, what detectives found while investigating the case was ‘stomach-turning,’ and he stated that it is beyond his wildest imagination how anyone could abuse a beautiful little fellow like this.
The sheriff went on to state that he does not believe detectives know all the abuse Bryan suffered and referred to another clip on found on the suspect’s phone in which the child was seen with his face down on the floor and she is beating him on his back and he is not even resisting it as though it is something he encounters on a daily basis.
The officials said that Saintizaire has since been charged with first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse, and the case is still under investigation.
