59.5 % of SKN population is fully vaccinated against COVID
A total of 59.5 per cent (19,660) of the total St Kitts and Nevis population has received their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and are fully vaccinated against the deadly mutant, as of 28 July 2021.

Saint Kitts and Nevis: A total of 59.5 per cent (19,660) of the total St Kitts and Nevis population has received their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and are fully vaccinated against the deadly mutant, as of 28 July 2021.
The data was shared in a COVID-19 vaccination report by St Kitts and Nevis Ministry of Health. The report further states a total of 71.9 per cent of the SKN population has received its first jab of the COVID-19 vaccine.
So far, till 28 July 2021, a total of 43,415 doses of the novel coronavirus vaccines have been administered on the twin islands, out of which a total of 33,424 COVID-19 doses have been administered on St Kitts while 9,990 doses are administered in Nevis.
The Caribbean island is getting closer to its target of 75 per cent in order to achieve herd immunity against the contagious coronavirus.
SKN has reported four new COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours; with this, the active cases of a novel coronavirus in the nation rises to 42, as of 28 July 2021, according to the Health Ministry's report of COVID-19 update.
The Caribbean island so far has reported 582 confirmed cases of the COVID-19, out of which in total 537 patients have been recovered from the deadly COVID-19 virus.
Out of the total confirmed COVID-19 cases so far, 562 coronavirus infections have been reported on St Kitts, while twenty COVID-19 cases have been reported in Nevis.
As per the Health Ministry's COVID-19 report, out of the novel coronavirus tests conducted at the twin-islands, a total of 25,267 individuals have been tested negative for the deadly virus. The Prime Minister of SKN - Dr Timothy Harris, is continuously encouraging the citizens to take their shots of the COVID-19 vaccine so as to defeat the pandemic and get back to normalcy. As per the COVID-19 statistics, worldwide, there are 195,266,156 confirmed COVID-19 cases, out of which in total 177,949,972 individuals have been recovered from the deadly mutant.
