5.5 Magnitude earthquake shook Dominica
An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the rectal scale was felt in Dominica on Thursday morning. According to reports, no loss of life or damage to property has been reported so far due to the quake that lasted for a few seconds.

Roseau: An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale was felt in Dominica on Thursday morning. According to reports, no loss of life or damage to property has been reported so far due to the quake that lasted for a few seconds.
The information is confirmed by the Office of Disaster Management. Tremors of the earthquake were felt in Roseau and some other parts of the Island. Jerks of the earthquake were also felt in Guadeloupe and Martinique.
ODM has confirmed that around 6:15 Thursday morning, Dominica felt an earthquake which is measured 5.5 on the Richter scale. The earthquake located 91 kilometres northeast of Roseau, Dominica which puts it just about northeast of Marie Glante next to Guadeloupe at a depth of 19 kilometres,” said Fitzroy Pascal, Disaster Coordinator at the ODM.
