26-year-old abducted and raped in the Bahamas

As per the reports, this brutal incident took place on Saturday, January 13, 2024, around 9 am. The identity of the female has not been revealed by the officials.

Bahamas: 26-year-old abducted, raped, police launches investigation

Bahamas: A 26-year-old woman was reportedly raped after a man forcibly abducted on Saturday morning.  The police have launched an investigation into this incident of sexual assault. The preliminary investigations have revealed that the victim was walking along Croton Street, Pinewood Gardens. During her walk, an unknown man approached and offered her a ride.

It is reported that the victim declined the offer, resulting in the driver forcing her into the car. As there was no one on the road at the time of this incident, the victim could not even get any help.

The victim added that the suspect reportedly drove to a location off Mackey Street, where the sexual assault occurred, following which she was left in an area away from this street.

The police officials in the Bahamas are actively investigating the incident and are appealing to members of the general public who may have knowledge that can help with this investigation to contact them.

Another Criminal Incident Reported

In addition to this, the police officials are also searching for two (2) males, who reportedly robbed a male of a PlayStation 5 game console on the same day in Bahamas. The incident reportedly occurred around 2:30 pm in the Pinewood Gardens area.

Initial reports indicate that the victim advertised the game for sale on Facebook and agreed to meet the buyer at home on Poinciana Avenue off Buttonwood Drive.

It is further reported that the victim, on arrival to the , was redirected to another residence, where he was approached by a male allegedly armed with a handgun and robbed of the game.

Police are aggressively investigating this incident and are appealing to members of the public to utilize the services of the police when exchanging cash for goods or services in these situations. The investigations into this incident also continue, said the police.
