The island of Saint Lucia is once again in the spotlight as the ultimate romantic getaway by securing its 15th title as the World's Leading Honeymoon Destination. The award was given at the prestigious World Travel Awards during a grand ceremony in Dubai, UAE, on December 1.

Saint Lucia has emerged victorious amidst very tough competition, and Prime Minister Philip J Pierre was present to receive this prestigious award himself.

It is to be noted that PM Pierre was in Dubai for the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28). This is the 15th time that the island nation has won the award for being the best Honeymoon Destination.
