Copa Airlines adds 3rd weekly flight from Panama City to Barbados

Copa Airlines was delighted to announce its expansion to the island nation of Barbados with an additional flight from Panama City. The additional flight began on Friday, July 7.

Copa Airlines was delighted to announce its expansion to the island nation of Barbados with an additional flight from Panama City. The additional flight began on Friday, July 7.  The Barbados Tourism Management Inc team was on hand to greet arriving passengers and the Copa Airlines crew. There has been a recognised interest from feeder cities such as Venezuela, Costa Rica, Brazil, Dominican Republic and Mexico City in destination Barbados, BTMI Marketing Manager Kyle Gittens stated.  The passengers were delighted with the warm welcome they received from the tourism authority of Barbados as they arrived to the beautiful country of Caribbean.

The carrier currently facilitates two direct flights weekly from Panama to Barbados, with this additional day ensuring that there are even more days for passengers to visit the amazing island. The BTMI team welcomed the expansion of flights with open arms and expressed their gratitude to the travel company, and said that this development would result in bringing more tourists to the island nation.  Recently, the island nation also welcomed the expansion of Caribbean Airlines, which is striving to boost Barbados' overall connectivity with the world.
