World Tourism Day

On September 27 each year, the world comes together to celebrate World Tourism Day, an initiative orchestrated by the United Nations World Tourism Organization. The primary objective is to promote tourism globally and encourage people to embrace the joy of exploring the diverse corners of our planet.

This year, the theme for World Tourism Day was "Tourism and Green Investment," a concept that spotlights the Sustainable Development Goals – the UN's roadmap for a better world by 2030. It underlines the urgency of adopting new and innovative solutions, rather than relying solely on conventional investments, to support economic growth and productivity.
