The Government of India understands the common interests, motives, and shared democratic values with Germany. This statement was made by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, during his meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Saturday. While addressing the press briefing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accompanied by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. PM Modi added that both nations have been sharing long-standing cultural and bilateral relations. Germany and India have always been good allies and stand together to safeguard their people against raising terrorism activities. In future, both countries will make every effort to deepen their bilateral ties.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi added, "We have a history of trade exchange. Germany is our biggest trading partner in Europe."

According to some reports, both leaders had discussed various plans and different international matters. They focused on enhancing bilateral and regional trade. This increasing cooperation between Germany and India will send a strong message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family). This friendly tie will not provide benefits to both nations but also to the world.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "People-to-people relations have greatly improved between the two countries in the last few years. Today, new opportunities are opening up in all sectors due to the 'Make in India' and Aatmanirbhar Bharat campaigns. We're encouraged by Germany's interest in these opportunities."

These strong ties have been only possible due to the commonly shared democratic values of each other's interests.

Furthermore, the dealings in security and defence cooperation have been proven an essential pillar of the strategic partnership between India and Germany. Together both countries will further flourish in this sector and become unstoppable.

While expressing his visit to India, Olaf Scholz tweeted, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi received me warmly in sunny New Delhi. It is already our fourth meeting. India and Germany have very good relations and want to strengthen them. That will be the topic of our talks and, importantly, peace in the world."
